So sorry for your loss. We just heard of Doug’s passing. Doug would visit our Grand Paraders square dances on Monday nights in Canton PA.
Doug was a good dancer and fit right in. What a full live Doug had. Treasure good memories.

We will remember how proud Doug was of Becky and Jessen. Hearing about their many pig hunts and trips to Florida

Dougie-you will be missed very much by us. You were a great friend, and you watched out for us and our place. You helped us for so many years, and we are really going to miss the times on the deck, your stories and your wealth of information, along with the fish fry lunches, the "one" beer, bringing donuts and apples and you and Randy discussing the right way to do things. We are going to miss the bantering between the two of us-but most of all we will miss you and your friendship. When asked how you were doing, your answer was always "not bad for an old fat guy" and you always calling us birds. We will truly miss you. To Gert, Giggles and Honey Bunch, we are truly sorry for your loss. Randy & Sheri

Doug was a special kind of man and truly a great friend. Loved to listen to his stories about his hunting expeditions and all his travels…..including “just life in general”. He loved getting together with classmates and monthly luncheons. If someone had a health problem he would always ask how they were doing and worried about their recovery. Never let on about his own health problems. All around “GREAT GUY” and will be missed by many. With all his accomplishments in life I believe he thought his “biggest and greatest” was his daughter and granddaughter. May you RIP Doug. Until we meet again.
