Obituary of Danae Ann Lewis

A very special angel, Danae Ann Lewis, is now at peace, running and playing in Heaven. Danae was born on October 29, 1989 to Sally (Crane) and Kenneth (deceased) Lewis and went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2023. Danae lived in Troupsburg, NY until 2021 when she moved with her mom and grandmother to Lititz, PA. Danae will always be remembered for her sweet, loving personality. Despite all of her misfortunes, she always had a smile that would light up any room. Danae loved being with her family, especially her brother, and friends and was always excited for parties. She enjoyed going to school and meeting so many talented and caring people. She spent many joyful hours swimming, camping, and traveling with her family. Her most memorable vacation was her Make-A-Wish trip throughout the western states in 2001 when she got to go "bye-bye" for a month and enjoyed seeing so many beautiful animals and places. Danae is survived by her loving mother, Sally, her beloved brother, Craig, sister-in-law, Stefanie, niece, Brielle, and nephew, Jackson, as well as several dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth, and her grandparents, especially her Grandma Crane, whom she adored. Danae's family would also like to thank all the special caregivers who impacted her life throughout the years. A very special embrace of love goes out to thank Penny, Lucy, Marsha, Victoria, Latifa, Jeanne, and Marge for all the care and love they gave Danae. There will be a graveside memorial service on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 5:00 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Troupsburg, NY. Local arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, Woodhull, NY.
