Obituary of Greg D. Morgan

Greg D. Morgan, 52, of Elmira, passed away at home unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2023. Greg was born in Blossburg, PA on March 18, 1971, he was the son of Kathleen Morgan and Ernie King. He was raised and lived his life in the twin tiers of Pennsylvania and New York. He had been employed as a farm hand at various farms in the region. He had at one time participated in area demolition derbies. He loved the outdoors and was a dedicated walker and hiker. Greg is survived by his children, Shawn (Nicole) Morgan of Mansfield, Austin Morgan of Mansfield, Ashlin Morgan of Westfield, Machayla Morgan of Westfield, Ashlynn Gardner of Knoxville, Hunter Morgan of Cameron and Josh Morgan of Cameron, 10 grandchildren, his siblings, Lisa Stiles of Addison, Roger Tillinghast Jr. of Tioga and James Femea of Bath and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Morgan and his stepfather, Roger Tillinghast Sr. There will be a celebration of life held on Thursday, September 7 from 4 to 8 pm at the Addison Community Center, Community Drive in Addison. Guests are asked to support the gathering with a dish to pass. Greg will be laid to rest in State Road Cemetery, Mainesburg, PA. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
