JASPER: Timothy L. “Tim” Willis, 54, of Grange St. passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.
Tim was born April 29, 1969 in Hornell to the late George and Rose Marie (Wing) Willis.
He was a graduate of Jasper Central School and had been employed at Wegman’s Grocery store in Hornell for 34 years. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed fishing, carving and other wood working projects.
He is survived by three brothers, Michael Reese, Matthew Willis and Nathan Willis, two sisters, Claudette Buman and Anna Guion, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will take place Sunday, November 12th at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church, Dunning Rd. in Canisteo. Final interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Tim’s name may be made to the Hornell Area Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Rd. Hornell, NY 14843.
Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
