I worked, bowled and golfed with Ray for over 30 years at AVX. I got to know his 3 sons very well. Mark, the oldest boy, was my best man when I got married. I worked with him, and Eric at AVX. Doug built the foundation of my house, and helped me with some advice in it's construction. Ray was very kind. He was always a great guy to talk to and he was very knowledgeable in his work. He was always helping others at work. He had patience with me as I learned about the process of ceramic capacitors through the years. His work ethic and kindness was transferred to his children. I was lucky to know them and experience that kindness.
