Obituary of Kevin P. Riff

Kevin P. Riff, 46, of Addison NY, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2023 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Philip K. Riff, and survived by his mother, Deborah Stiles Riff, his brother John (Kathryn) Riff of Addison, his nephew Braeden Riff (Chariti) of Addison, niece Paige (Joseph) Saltsman, great nieces Callie and Cyleigh Saltsman, and great nephew Carter Saltsman all of Addison. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin graduated from Elkland High School where he played soccer and track and was a member of the Drama Club and the Ski Club. He also attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. As a kid, he spent summers in Canada with his family where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and water sports. Most of his adult life, he worked various construction jobs in the area and in Florida, as well as working on natural gas wells in PA. Kevin was very creative and artistic. He very much enjoyed woodworking and cabinet making. He will be truly missed by his loved ones, but there is some comfort in knowing he is now with his beloved father. More than likely, they are sitting in the boat somewhere. Friends and relatives may call on the family at his mother’s house at NOON on Saturday, December 30, 2023, and a small service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM at her home.
