Obituary of Elberta M. Bost

Elberta M. Bost, 83, of 401 Coates Ave, Elkland, PA, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Elberta was born in Jackson Summit, PA on May 22, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Wilson) Graham. She attended rural schools in the Owlville District in the Town of Woodhull. On December 2, 1945, she and Floyd M. Bost were married. Floyd preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1986. Elberta was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at one time. She was a former member of the Soldiers & Sailors Hospital Auxiliary and Elkland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She also belonged to the Ladies of the Moose in Wellsboro. Also predeceasing Elberta were her sisters, Waneta Aldrich and Marie Phelps and her brother, Walter Graham. Surviving are her children, JoElla (Chester) Mosher, Sally (Thomas) Mosher and Paul Bost, all of Elkland and Raymond (Nettie) Bost Sr. of Tioga, her grandchildren, Joseph Mosher, Shannon (Cheri) Mosher, Jodylynn Mosher, Melissa Mosher and Raymond Bost Jr., special grandchild, Cody Woodward, 3 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday, March 1 from 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will be held there on Saturday at 11 AM with Rev. Theodore Carr officiating. Burial will be in Champlin Cemetery, Westfield, PA. Service: Saturday, March 2, 2013 11:00 AM H.P. Smith & Son Inc.
