As close friends of Manuel, Marta and Marixa when we were in high school, we learned of Raida's hospitality and sense of humor during numerous visits to their home. We remember first tasting rice and beans and other simple but delicious meals courtesy of Raida's skilled cooking, and we remember Raida's kindness. Our condolences to Marta and Marixa and your family, and may Raida rest in peace.
