Obituary of David C. Bulkley

David C. Bulkley, 82, of Kirk Road, Addison, NY, passed away at home on Monday, April 15, 2024. David was born in Bath, NY on March 15, 1942. He was the son of Clyde and Alice Hoyt Bulkley. He attended Bradford Central School. On August 31, 1968, David married the former Jo Ann O’Konski in Beaver Dams. She survives. He was a truck driver of over 20 years, driving for C & H Transportation out of Dallas, TX. He also had worked as a material handler for Toshiba Electric in Horseheads. David was a stock car enthusiast, having raced at Woodhull Raceway in the Hooligan and Strictly Stock classes. He was an avid pool and poker player and savored the time spent with his grandchildren at frequent family gatherings. David is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Bulkley of Addison, his children, Larado Scott Bulkley of Amity Lake, NY, Tracy Lynn Smith of Burlington, NC, Chondo Lancer Bulkley of Rexville, NY and Chanandoah Bulkley of Addison, his grandchildren, Cheyenne Bulkley, Lacy Bulkley, Shelby Bulkley, Cree Bulkley, Cory Pritchard, Tiesa Smith, Traylynn Smith, Jameka Jeffries, James Jeffries, Randy Bevis, Caleb Bevis (Katrina), Desi and Aaron Mousaw, Shylo Bulkley, Morgan Bulkley, Cierra Paciorek and Bryler Bulkley, 17 great grandchildren, his siblings, Shirley (Dick) Horton, Genevieve (Harry) Goosen, Beverly Parker, Clyde (Debbie) Bulkley and Sydney (Gordon) Mattison, sister-in-law, Marlene Bulkley and several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Alice Bulkley, brother, Thomas Bulkley, sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Champion and brother-in-law, Charles Parker. A Celebration of Life to honor David will be held at a time to be determined. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull
