BATH: Thomas F. “Tom’ Moore, 66, of Moore Haven Dr. passed away Friday evening, April 12, 2024 at the Fred & Harriett Taylor Health Care Facility in Bath following a long illness. Tom was born December 9, 1957 in Hornell to the late Robert F. and Winifred E. (Carnes) Moore. On July 10, 1999 at the West Jasper Wesleyan Church, he married the former Vicki VanFleet who survives and resides in Bath. Tom was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and held a number of jobs throughout the area to include Kraft Foods, M&K of Hornell, Mercury Aircraft, Alstom of Hornell and prior to illness, a truck driver for Camping World of Bath. Tom was also a former member of area fire departments. He was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan who had a special admiration for old pick-up trucks and classic cars. He is survived by his wife Vicki of Bath and a sister, Sue Guild of Arkport, and several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his first wife, the former Ann (Woodworth) Moore, daughter Carrie O’Dell, grandson Christopher Thomas O’Dell, brother Gerald Moore, two sisters Carol Lorraine and Linda Becher. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27th from 2-4 at the Wallace Wesleyan Church where a memorial service will take place immediately following calling hours at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Wallace Fire Department or the Wallace Wesleyan Church. Arrangements are in care of the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
