Lynn Alfred Case, 74, of Williams Road, Addison, NY, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA following an accidental fall at his home.
Lynn was born in Corning on May 4, 1950. He was the son of the late Alfred Carl and Grace Lisette (Benjamin) Case. He attended Addison schools from where he was a 1969 graduate of Addison High School.
On January 14, 1978, Lynn and the former Lucinda (Cindy) Strauss were married at the 1st Baptist Church of Addison. Cindy survives.
Lynn was employed for nearly 30 years in the Rochester area, having worked as a mold builder for Advanced Mold & Tooling, All Mold and eventually employed for 18 years by General Motors / Delphi. He and Cindy returned to the Addison area in 2008 making their home on the Williams homestead in Tuscarora. Lynn was employed by Corning Inc. at the IDM plant in Erwin for 5 years before fully retiring.
Lynn was an avid golfer which led him to annual golf trips to Arizona and Florida with his golfing buddies.
Lynn is survived by his wife Cindy of Addison his sister, Janice Stewart of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father Alfred in 1956, mother Grace in 2002, his sister Lorraine Gardner in 2016 and his sister Alicia Dean in 1985.
Burial will be private in Elk Creek Cemetery, Borden, NY.
Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
