Skip and his family lived right down the road from us. He and his sisters used to ride on the same school bus as me and my brothers. I met Vicky first as she was in fifth grade with me. I became good friends with both Tammy and Vicky and Tammy and I would spend the night at each other's homes a lot. I remember Skip used to come over to our house quite often after supper and watch TV with our family. There used to be a movie on Tuesday nights and if it was a good one he would stay and watch the whole movie until it ended at 11:00 at night. Whenever there would be what he called a scary movie on, he told us that he would run home because every little noise would get to him. We would all start laughing until we had tears running down our faces because he had such a way of telling stories about his "adventures" going back home. Skip was a great person and well liked by all he knew. God rest your soul, Skip.

This is a picture of our last visit to NY to see the family. First time my boys ( Owen and Andrew) got to meet everyone. They thought uncle Skip was the “coolest” uncle! His bear story ( and the actual bear), tales of hunting and other shenanigans…… he made an impression. A full life of many tales to tell! Godspeed Uncle Skip! Love you❤️

I'll always remember Skip's quick wit and great sense of humor. He was smart and funny. I am proud to have been numbered among his friends.
Rest in Peace, Skip
