Obituary of Christopher F. Campbell

HORNELL/CANISTEO: Christopher F. "Chris" Campbell, 36, of Chaddock Ave. passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (April 10, 2013) at his home in Hornell. Chris was born September 17, 1976 in Hornell to Lester R. and Gail (Reynolds) Campbell. He was a graduate of Watertown Central School class of 1994 and was a break relief employee at the H.P. Hood Dairy Plant in Arkport. Chris had also been formerly employed at the Canisteo Pizzeria as a cook and had worked at A.L. Blades in Hornell. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Buffalo Sabres hockey and Buffalo Bills football teams, as well as the N.Y. Yankees. Chris is survived by his parents: Lester and Gail Campbell of Canisteo, a sister Jennie (John) Weitzel of Canisteo and a brother Justin (Amber) Campbell also of Canisteo. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew: Jaiden and Jackson Weitzel and Julia Campbell as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home 29 East Main St. in Canisteo where a funeral service will take place Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Todd Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
