Obituary of Linda S. Simons

Campbell, NY - Linda S. Simons, 58, of Joint Road, Campbell, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Corning Hospital flowing extended poor health. Linda was born in Bath, NY on March 14, 1955, the daughter of the late William and Thelma Grist Hamblin. She was a homemaker and also worked at Three Rivers Health Care Facility in Painted Post and also seasonally in area vineyards. Linda was always at the ready to babysit for family members in need, particularly watching over her grandchildren Linda and Roy A. Simons were married on Nov. 11, 1974 in Campbell. Roy survives. Her mother, Thelma Coolidge preceded her in death on April 2, 2011. Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Roy Simons of Campbell, her children, Susan Simons (Pete Force), Michael (Mary) Simons and Brandy Simons, all of Campbell, her father, Douglas Coolidge of Campbell, her grandchildren, Tonickos, Lakota, Cheyenne, Tacoma, Shaman, Eric, Caitlin and Michael, her brothers, Douglas (Pam) Hamblin of Campbell, Kelvin (Cindy) Coolidge of Duanesburg, NY and Lyle Coolidge (Cindy) of Mayfield, NY, her sisters, Maureen (George) Simons of Campbell, Roseanne (Michael) Borisinko of Scotia, NY and Cynthia Orlando of Scotia, her uncles, Myron (Shirley) Grist Jr. of Bath and William (Mary) Grist of Addison, her aunt, Waneta Payne of Campbell along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Saturday, April 27 from 2-4 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 4 PM with Rev.
