Obituary of Rickey L. Wright

Rickey L. Wright, 48, of Parker Road, Campbell, died Thursday evening, August 22, 2013 in the Town of Bradford as the result of an auto accident. Born in Corning on Dec. 16, 1964, Rick was the son of Clem and Janice Jones Wright. He was a graduate of Addison Central School. Rick worked with his brother, Scott in his business in Savona where he managed the Steuben Sporting Goods Store as well as being involved in the auto repair part of the business. Rick was a very talented mechanic. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt. He had traveled various places to hunt over the years including a hunting trip to Africa with his brother. Rick adored his pet dog Casey. He was always willing to help anyone in need without expectation of compensation. On May 18, 2009, Rick and the former Gina Dickinson were married in Campbell. Gina survives. Besides his wife Gina, Rick is survived by his children, Ashley Wright of Corning and Rikki Wright of Texas, his step sons, James, Keanu, Cyrano and Cole Buda, all of Campbell, his mother, Janice Jones of Bath, his father, Clem (Susan) Wright of Thurston, his brother, Scott Wright (Kelly Crans), of Cameron, his sister, Amber (Andy) Welch of Whittier, NC, his grandmother, Mildred Jones of Lindley along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call on Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 6-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Rick's funeral service will be held there on Wednesday at 11 AM with Rev.
