Obituary of Connie L. Casinelli

Connie L. Casinelli, 65, of 4053 Purdy Rd, Lockport, NY, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at East Niagara Hospital, Lockport Campus, after a long illness. Born in North Hornell, NY, June 16, 1948, she was the daughter of Hugh S. & Barbara J. Lewis Friends. A graduate of Jasper Central School and Olean Business Institute, she was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Lockport. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, & homemaker. She married Anthony V. Casinelli September 30, 1967; he survives. Also surviving are her sons, Michael Casinelli of Cheektowaga, NY, Ty Casinelli & Reese Casinelli at home; her daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Ronald Yotter of Lockport; grandchildren, Anthony Michael Casinelli and Renee & Melissa Yotter; her sisters, Karen Zykenski of Cortland, NY, Deborah Dennis of Hiddenite, NC, & Cynthia Bergeron of Painted Post, NY; & her sister-in-law, Mary Friends of Ontario, NY. She is preceded in death by her parents & brother, Gary D. Friends. There will be a visitation 4-7pm, Wednesday, January 15th at the Prudden & Vandt Funeral Home, Lockport, NY followed by services at 7pm. Friends may call Saturday, January 18th, 11am-1pm, at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY with funeral services immediately following at 1pm. The Rev. Brian Diffenbacher will officiate. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
