Hornell, NY | Willard Hall Jr., 77, of Hornell, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at McAuley Manor in North Hornell where he had been a resident since October. Bill was born in Marydale, New York on July 31, 1936 and was the son of Willard and Emma (O'Dell) Hall. He had worked most of his life as a farm hand on various farms over the years. Bill was a long time companion of Janet R. Sawyer who preceded him in death on October 28, 2012. There are no known survivors other than Janet's family including her sisters, Ann Hulbert of Troupsburg, Mary (Keith) Auton of Hendersonville, NC and Jane Kawecki of Northwest Warren, OH, Janet's brothers, Dave (Liz) Sawyer of Woodhull, Dale (Grace) Sawyer of Friendsville, TN, Dean (Cheryl) Sawyer of Troy, Pa and George (Helen) Sawyer of Canisteo and her nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg, Pa.
