Frank Vitulli, 56, of Canfield Place, Rochester, formerly of Woodhull, passed away at his home on Monday, February 3, 2014. Frank was born in Smithtown, Long Island, New York on July 3, 1957, the son of Michael and Mary LaSaracina Vitulli. His family moved to a farm in Woodhull where he was raised and attended school in Addison. Following high school, Frank entered the US Navy where he served his country for 8 years. Upon leaving the service he worked as a boiler engineer in several places including Corning Hospital, Anchor Glass in Elmira, the Elmira Psychiatric Center, Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and lastly at SUNY Geneseo. Frank was an avid fan of the New York Jets. Surviving Frank are his son, Jeremy (Christina) Vitulli of Beaver Dams, his daughters, Michelle Vitulli and Danielle Vitulli, both of Horseheads, his father, Michael Vitulli of Woodhull, his brothers, Michael (Anna) Vitulli III of New York City, Bruce (Penny) Vitulli of Addison and Daniel (Sherrie) Vitulli of Woodhull, his sisters, Mariann (Evan) Smith of Addison and Ann (Forrest) Wright of Painted Post, uncles, Ruby Vitulli of Woodhull and Joe Vitulli of Spring Valley, NJ. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank's mother, Mary Vitulli preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 1999. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8 from noon to 2 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. His funeral service will follow there at 2 PM with Rev. Patrick Connor officiating. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery. Service: Saturday, February 8, 2014 2:00 PM H.P. Smith & Son Inc.
