Obituary of Anita M. VanZile

Middlebury Center, Pa. | Anita M. VanZile, 64, of Rte. 287, Middlebury Center, Pa. passed away on Friday morning, February 21, 2014 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, Pa. Anita was born on September 28, 1949 in Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Delbert and Helen Hillyard White. On March 22, 1966, Anita married Harry E. VanZile in Elkland, Pa. A homemaker most of her life, Anita loved caring for her family and could easily spread good cheer to all around her. She was a lady of simple pleasures. She loved to shop, she adored her pets through the years and took wonderful care of her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harry VanZile of Middlebury Center, her daughter, Melissa Barr (Greg Nelson) of Tioga, her sons, Dale VanZile of Lawrenceville and Robert (Tiffany) VanZile of Middlebury Center, her grandchildren, Dustin Barr, Zakkary Barr, Anthony Nelson, Alisha Welch, Nikita VanZile, Kraig VanZile, Chelsea VanZile, Keegan VanZile and Raygen VanZile, her great grandchildren, Xavier Barr and Amanda Welch, her brothers, Roger (Mona) White of Vero Beach, FL. and Paul (Patty) White of Cameron Mills, NY, her sisters, Patricia Waring of Addison, NY and Carolyn (Rick) Andrews of Woodhull, NY, her brother in law, Elwin (Pat) VanZile of Tioga, Pa. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her brothers, Franklin, Dale and Glenn White preceded her in death. Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 1-3 and 6-8 at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Anita's funeral service will be held there on Wednesday at 2 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Addison Rural Cemetery, Addison, NY.
