Vern A. White, 42, of County Route 123, Jasper, died suddenly at home on Sunday morning, January 8, 2012. Born in Hornell on January 16, 1969, Vern was the son of Neil A. and Nancy R. Farrand White. He graduated from E.J. Wilson High School in Spencerport and received an associates degree from Monroe Community College in Rochester. Vern was a 20 year employee of Dresser-Rand Company in Painted Post where he worked as a machinist. He was a very avid hunter, enjoyed watching his girls play sports at school and always looked forward to attending the Leo Gee Memorial Rodeo which he had done since a child. On July 23, 1994, Vern married Ann M. Space at the First Baptist Church of Addison. She survives. Along with his wife Ann, Vern is survived by his three daughters, Samantha, Megan and Kelli White, all at home, his parents, Neil & Nancy White of Woodhull, his brothers, Raymond (Colleen) White of North Pole, Alaska and Neil (Jana) White Jr. of Canisteo, his sister, Lorraine (Richard) Guyette of Dalton, NY and many, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Friends may call on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will be conducted there on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will take place in Woodhull Cemetery. Service: Friday, January 13, 2012 11:00 AM H.P.
