Obituary of Tonja Marie Jumper

Tonja Marie Jumper, 37, of Addison, NY, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Tonja was born in Susquehanna, PA, November 15, 1976 to Ronald L. and Nedra J. (Jones) Jumper. She was a 1995 graduate of Addison Central School and later received her CNA and phlebotomy certification. Tonja is survived by: her parents and siblings: Ronald (Doreen) Jumper, Robert (Karrie) Jumper and Sherri (Mike) McFall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kaylin, Aaron, Adam, Alex, Allison, Kurstin (Mike), Mikey and Zack, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tonja was predeceased by: paternal grandparents - Edward Jumper (1995), Ethel (Freeman) Jumper (2006), maternal grandparents - Clifford Jones (2003), Adell Emma (Jodry) Jones (2008) and cousin Cassandra Joy Chapman (1988). Tonja enjoyed her job at Fred & Harriet Taylor Health Center in Bath, NY, caring for residents as a CNA. She had a big heart and was willing to help wherever help was needed. A visitation will be held at Tuscarora Baptist Church, 422 Cook Road, Addison, NY on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 2-4 pm with the funeral service to follow, officiated by Rollin Howard. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the MRSA Research Center, University of Chicago Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases Section, c/o Daniel Rodgers, (C-623-C) Wyler Building, 6th Floor, 5841 South Maryland Ave., MC 6054, Chicago, IL 60637.
