Obituary of Mildred Farrand Gill

ADDISON, NY : Mildred Farrand Gill, 90, formerly of Addison passed away Thursday (May 1, 2014) at Livingston County Nursing Home in Mt. Morris where she had resided since 2009. Mildred was born September 25, 1923 in Wellsboro, PA to Floyd and Bertha (Copp) Burrell. On August 20, 1941 she married William Farrand. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1968. She was also predeceased by her parents, brothers: Frank Burrell and Philip Burrell and sisters: Doris Barber, Dorothy Seymour and Jeanette Christian. Mildred is survived by two daughters: Carol (Thomas) Goodier of St. George, SC., Delanne Siewert of Roswell, GA., 8 grandchildren: Martin (Cynthia) Nichols, William Nichols, Jeffery Nichols, Monica-Lynn Gill, Thomas Zawrotny, Annie Zawrotny, Robert (Rachel) Siewert, April (Joshua) Anderson, and16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday May 4th from 2pm to 4pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 4pm with Rev. Morris Gridley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Townline Cemetery, Cameron Mills.
