JASPER: Joyce L. Willis, 82, of Cty. Rte. 123, passed away Friday (May 9, 2014) at Hornell Gardens where she had been a resident for three weeks. Joyce was born March 2, 1932 in North Hornell to Leonard and Mabel (Woodworth) Wing. On April 29, 1950 in Arkport she married Lloyd Willis who survives and resides in Jasper. She was predeceased by six brothers: Randall, Frederick, Clinton, Chester, Harold and Francis Daily and two sisters: Rose Willis and an infant sister Rosemond Daily. Joyce's family was first and foremost in her life. She will always be remembered as a conscientious, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the company of her family at all times. In addition to her husband of 64 years, Lloyd Willis of Jasper, Joyce is survived by three sons: Vernon (Marge) Willis of Westfield, Pa. Steven (Heidi) Willis of Bethel, ME. and Philip (Jennifer) Willis of Bath, one daughter; Robin Willis of Jasper, 9 grand children and 3 great grand children. She is also survived by a brother Dale Wing of Clovis, CA. and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hrs. or service at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial Contributions in Joyce L. Willis's name may be made to either the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, Dunning Rd. Canisteo N.Y. 14823 or to the Jasper Ambulance Fund c/o Peggy Holt P.O.
