Dennis family-I worked with Carl many years at Alfred and saddened by his passing. I always remember his cheerful smile and kind words. He used to go to Maryland on his breaks and show me some of the pictures of the bay he so loved. My sympathies to you all.

Our journey was long from picking on each other in our youth to a great friendship. You accepted Ed into the family as a friend and Ed always felt as a brother. Our memories will be of strength, courage, and talent and when Ed got too exact in our building in Bennington you said " It doesn't have to fly Ed". Thank you Donna, Shaun, Greg and family and close friends for laying Carl to rest with dignity, pride, humor,love, and music befitting his life. Carl you will be forever gentle on our minds.Love Sis

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Donna, may you find comfort from knowing that Isaiah 33:24 says: No resident will say: "I am sick". Carl will be missed by all that knew him. His sense of humor was always appreciated by all of us that laughed with him. He and Bill had their many adventures together through thick and thin during the years they built homes and the stories that came about from their life-experiences. He fought a courageous battle and never gave up, he was determined to be a survivor and had heart-felt determination. Bill and I are thinking of you all.
