Obituary of Lilah Elizabeth & Loralei Elizabeth Hogan

AVOCA: Lilah E. and Loralei E. Hogan, infant twin daughters of Robert and Elizabeth (Edwards) Hogan of Ste. Rte. 415 passed away peacefully together Sunday (Nov. 9, 2014) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Lilah and Loralei were born September 18, 2014 in Rochester and for a short period of time precious memories were made with their mother, father and sister, as well as other members of their family. In addition to their parents the girls are survived by a sister Tae Louise Hogan at home, maternal grandparents: Robert and Shirley Edwards of Avoca, paternal grandmother Sherry Hogan of Corning, maternal great grandmother Doris Edwards of Bath, paternal great grandfather William J. Hogan, Jr. of Ocala, FL. as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lilah and Loralei were predeceased by a sister Eleanor Bettis Hogan in December of 2012, their paternal grandfather William J. Hogan, III, and uncle, Curtis Hagadone. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 29 East Main St. in Canisteo. A mass and Christian burial will take place Friday at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rexville. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Churchyard Cemetery in Rexville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lilah and Loralei's names may be made to either the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 333 Westmoreland Dr., Rochester, N.Y. 14620 or to the Strong Memorial Neonatal I.C.U., P.O. Box 619-33400, 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, N.Y. 14642.
