Cameron Mills, NY | Mary Jane Williams, 62, of Bald Hill Road, Cameron Mills, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Corning Hospital. Mary Jane was born in Woodhull on June 19, 1952, the daughter of the late Gordon L. and Esther Symonds English. She attended Woodhull High School until it's closing and graduated from Troupsburg Central School. On November 7, 1970, she and Clarence "Butch" Williams were married in Cherry Flats, PA Mary Jane was first and foremost a homemaker and mother. She had, however, held positions over the years with various businesses including Corning Glass Works, Ingersoll Rand, St. James Hospital, and Marion Rohr. She was always involved with her children's lives as they were growing up including time spent as a Cub Scout Leader and as an active volunteer at their school. She enjoyed gardening, baking and quilting and always looked forward to annual deer hunting with her family. Mary Jane was always a very loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas English and Louie English and her nephews, Billy English and Tommy Patterson. Mary Jane is survived by her husband of 44 years, Butch Williams, her children, Joseph (Barbie) Williams of Mesa, AZ, Gina Youchah of Georgia, VT and Josh Williams of Newark, NJ, her grandchildren, Nathan Touchah, Alexander Youchah and Nevaeh Williams, her sisters, Marguerite (Floyd) Taft of Woodhull, Patricia Patterson of Woodhull, her brother, Kenneth W. (Mabel) English of Woodhull, her aunts, Kate Towsley of Fairport, NY and Flora Broderick of Wellsboro, Pa. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Sunday, January 4 from 1-4 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. A private Celebration of Life will be held for the family of Mary Jane at another time and location. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodhull Fire Department.
