Obituary of Randy S. Allen

REXVILLE: Randy S. Allen, 52, of Cty. Rte. 98 passed away Monday (Jan. 26, 2015) at his home following a brief illness. Randy was born September 7, 1962 in Hornell to Robert and Sandra (Casey) Allen. On August 14, 1993 in Wellsville he married the former Jennifer Jones who survives and resides in Rexville. He was predeceased by his father Robert Allen. Randy was a graduate of Whitesville Central School class of 1981. Prior to his illness he was a certified nurse's assistant at Highland Park Nursing Home in Wellsville. His interests included hunting and fishing and anything outdoors. He was a Ford Motor enthusiast and was especially fond of the Ford Mustang. Randy also was an avid football fan following both the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburg Steelers. He also enjoyed listening to the "Ole time Rock & Roll' music he grew up with. In addition to his wife Jennifer of Rexville, Randy is survived by his two daughters: Allison (Jason) Langston of Camp Lejeune, N.C. and Brittney Allen at home. He is also survived by his mother Sandra Allen of Rexville, two brothers: Bobby (Charlotte) Allen and Jason Allen both of Texas and a sister: Debbie (Tiny) Kerr of Texas as well as aunts, uncles and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service for Randy, on Saturday at 11:00 am at the West Union Mennonite Church, 1459 County Route 84. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Randy's name may be made to the Greenwood Vol. Ambulance Fund, c/o Melissa Waters, 751 Andover St. Greenwood, N.Y. 14839 or the West Union Mennonite Church, 1459 County Route 84; Rexville, N.Y. 14877. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo. Service: Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 11:00 AM West Union Mennonite Church Cty. Rte. 84
