Obituary of Steven R. Housel

Steven R. Housel, 56, of Baldwinsville, NY, formerly of Addison, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at his home where he resided with his sister Yvonne and her family. Steve was born in Corning on August 12, 1958, the son of Robert L. and Joan M. (Jacobson) Housel. He was a graduate of Addison Central School. He worked with his family on the family dairy farm, Housel Brothers Registered Holsteins in Tuscarora until ill health prevented him from continuing. Steve adored his many nieces and nephews. He was a gentle person. He will be missed by all his family. Surviving are his parents, Robert and Joan Housel of Addison, his sisters, Yvonne (David) Hanrahan of Baldwinsville and Sandra (Douglas) Martin of Ontario, NY, his brother, Randy (Lisa) Housel of Addison, 7 nieces and nephews, 2 aunts and several cousins. Friends may call on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 1-3 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Addison Hill Cemetery, Town of Tuscarora.
