Vivian and all the family, we were very sorry to hear of the passing of Charles. Although our families lived far apart we always felt close to your family. I remember Charles visiting with his parents at our grandparent's home. We had a wonderful time visiting with all our cousins, uncles and aunts. Charles had a remarkable career. He will be greatly missed. We love you and will be praying for you in this time of your sorrow.

Our love and sympathy in the passing of cousin Charles. We enjoyed spending time in his home when we lived in DC. He arranged personal tours for us at the Pentagon where he worked,the White House and old Senate Bldg. Charles shared his beautiful voice by singing in his church choir. He served our country with honor. RIP. Katherine & Ray Booker

Sincere Condolences to all the family. Charles was a great friend and while we did not see each other very often, we remained friends and would message on FB. He was always there for his friends and I will miss him. Viv, Jim, Eric, and his sons and grandchildren, my heart goes out to you. May he RIP.

I am sorry to learn that Charles has passed away. I also graduated with him and never heard an unkind word from his mouth. To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. To the family of Charles Franklin, I send my sincere condolences. I went to ACS with Charles and graduated with him in 1968. We were in band together as well as in various classes. I always admired him. He was a sweet, kind and fun-loving person. I will miss our Facebook conversations about various music interests. Rest in Peace, Charles.
