Bath, NY | Frank L. Dyer, 70, of Rock Run Road, Cameron, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Bath VA Medical Center in Bath following a long illness. Frank was born in Corning, NY on May 5, 1945, the son of the late Leroy and Elizabeth Eckler Dyer. He entered the US Army in 1969, serving until 1975 including a tour of duty in Vietnam. Frank was employed as a heavy equipment operator, working for various pipeline and road construction contractors all over the country. He is survived by his siblings, Alberta Potter of Cameron, Ida Galligan of Bath, Bert Cratsley of Canisteo and Larry Eckler of Burt, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Earl Cratsley and his sisters, Martha Dyer and Julia Noyes. Friends may call on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. His funeral services will follow there at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be made in Woodhull Cemetery.��
