Addison, NY | Clarence A. Sullivan, 78, of Front St. Addison, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Absolut Care at Three Rivers in Painted Post. Clarence was born in Addison on Sept. 8, 1936, the son of the late William and Edith Rice Sullivan. At the age of 17, Clarence enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1954 to 1957 during the Korean Conflict. On Nov. 27, 1959, he and the former Judith M. Easton were married in Addison. Judy preceded Clarence in death on Oct. 8, 1993. He was a long time employee of FM Howell Co. in Elmira, retiring as a front man in charge of a production line in the factory. In the past Clarence enjoyed outdoors activities including hunting and fishing. He and his partner, Marilyn enjoyed visiting casinos in the region and they had wintered together in Florida for many years. Besides his wife Judy and his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his brothers, Leon and Robert and his sister, Esther. Surviving are his children, Bradley Sullivan of Zephyrhills, FL and Darlene (Steve) Southard of Elmira, his long time companion, Marilyn Lashomb of Addison, grandchildren, Joshua (Shanna) Sullivan, Justin Southard, Patricia Southard and Matthew Southard, great grandchildren, Connor Sullivan, Rylin Sullivan and Adam Speer, brothers and sisters, Margaret (Tom) Wright of Addison, William (Barb) Sullivan of Addison, Ruth (Paul) McQuown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Charles (Emoline) Sullivan of Addison, Richard (Carol) Sullivan of Addison, Alice Sullivan of Addison, Frank (Nancy) Sullivan of Addison and Raymond Sullivan of Corning and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 16 from 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral and committal services will be conducted there on Wednesday at 1 PM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.��
