Westfield, PA | Twilla L. Wood, 69, of California Road, Westfield, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Corning Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Wellsville, NY on Aug. 6, 1945, Twilla was the daughter of the late Meldon and Hannah Lewis Dean. She was a graduate of Northern Potter High School. She married Kenneth Lampman who died in Vietnam on Mar. 5, 1967. On Sept. 19, 1969, she and Claude "Sonny" Wood were married in Austinburg, PA. Sonny preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1998. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Crawford, Merlin, George, Robert and Andrew and her sisters, Blanche, Violet, Hally and Evelyn. Twilla worked for several years at the Westfield Tannery and later was office manager at Stampcamp USA in Elkland. Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Lampman of Westfield, Daniel (Lori) Wood of Ulysses, PA and Joel Wood of Girard, OH., her grandchildren, Summer, Shane, Makenzie and Olivia Lampman, Danielle Wood and Kyle and Morgan Mills, her great granddaughter, Laurynn Flamini, her brother, George Dean of Tennessee, her sister, Pat (William Hervy) Hand of Harrison Valley, PA and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday, June 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will be held there on Saturday at 11 AM.
