Obituary of Brenda L. Meade-Ribble

Addison, NY | Brenda L. Meade-Ribble, 48, of William St. Addison, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family following a valiant struggle with cancer. Brenda was born in Corning, NY on Dec. 7, 1966, the daughter of Mabel Dyer and Bert Meade. She was raised in the Addison area and attended school there. On March 16, 1991, she married Ephraim Ribble Jr. in Addison. Brenda was a homemaker and a long time member of the Addison Fire Department. Brenda loved to fish and following deer and bears as they roamed the countryside. She also always enjoyed the pick up softball games in the family. Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Ephraim Ribble Jr. of Addison, her daughter, Candylynn Meade (Mark Crawford) of Addison, her son and daughter in law, David and Katelyn Ribble of Addison, her grandson, Dwayne Meade, her mother, Mabel Dyer and her father, Bert Meade, both of Addison, her step sisters, Lisa Curry of Bath and Janette Rader of Corning, special nephews, Donald Hatch Jr. and Bobby Houghtaling as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws and family friend Joe Knickerbocker Sr. of Elmira. Friends may call on Sunday, July 5 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Brenda's funeral services will be conducted there on Monday at 11 AM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating.
