Obituary of Doris E. Hallett

CANISTEO: Doris E. Hallett, 92, formerly of Russell St. passed away Monday (July 13, 2015) at the Wellsville Manor, where she had been a resident for the past two years. Doris was born December 9, 1922 in Cameron to Beldon and Myrtle Watson. On October 10, 1945 she married William W. Hallett who predeceased her in May of 1992. She was also predeceased by a brother Legrande Watson. Doris was a life long resident of the Canisteo valley and had been a supervisor for many years at the former Westinghouse Company in Bath. Survivors include two daughters: Donna M. Stock of Purdy Creek, Hornell and Christina Dickens of Wellsville, four grandchildren: Curtis and Mark Dickens, Derek Stock and Michele Stock and 7 great grandchildren: Brooklynn and Alexander Dickens, Markessa Dickens, Autumn Stock, Jessica VanScoter, Aaron and Seresa Miller. There will be no public calling hours or services. A private family funeral service will be at the convenience of the family at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
