Obituary of Robin M. Quick

Robin M. Quick, 56, of State Route 417, Jasper, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Steuben Center for Rehabilitation in Bath following a brief illness. Robin was born on September 3, 1958. She was raised in Jasper and attended Jasper Central School. On August 16, 2008, she married Gerald Quick in Jasper, He survives. She was a member of the Jasper Ambulance Assoc., the Jasper Fire Department and the department's fire police squad. Robin enjoyed baking and crocheting and was an avid animal lover. She adored her family and loved to spend time with her children and spoiling her grandchildren. Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Earl J. Brownell and Clara M. Brownell and Clayton and Pauline Ashbaugh and her grandson, Jacob Stephens. Surviving are her husband, Gerald Quick of Jasper, her children and their spouses, Todd and Corinne Olejniczak of Hornell, Robert and Brooke Olejniczak stationed in Ankara, Turkey serving with the US Air Force, Christina and Alex Mieles of Montour Falls, Melissa and James Stephens of Jasper and Joliena and Craig Stephens of Jasper, her grandchildren, Della, Samantha and Cera Olejniczak, Kristian and Clayton Rice, Gerald, Amber, Brianna, Austin and Lucas Stephens, her siblings, LuAnn Gordon, George Ashbaugh, Wayne (Shannon) Ashbaugh and Helen (Henry) O'Brien along with nieces, nephews and cousins. A private memorial service will be held for the family on Friday, July 17. A time of gathering and visitation will be held on Saturday July 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boyd's Corners Baptist Church, Cty.
