Addison, NY | Ronald P. Tarby, 66, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away at the home of his son in Tuscarora on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Born in Elmira, NY on June 24, 1949, he was the son of the late Ruth L. Amann. Ron enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1968, serving until 1972. He spent a majority of his enlistment in Japan working in military intelligence. Ron retired after many years with Corning Inc. He worked last in the Shipping & Receiving Dept. at the Erwin Plant. He was a life member of the Corning VFW Post and was a very avid and skilled photographer. Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Seneca and Dee Tarby of Tuscarora and his grandchildren, Brittany and Aedan Tarby. Ron was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce and Peter and his sister, Sandy. Ron will be laid to rest in Greensprings Natural Cemetery in Newfield, NY on Wednesday, September 9 at 2 PM. Committal and military honors will be shared for those wishing to attend.��
