Obituary of Eleanor G. Palmer

��Eleanor G. Palmer, 80, of Starr Hill Road, Howard, NY passed away at home on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Born in Wallace, NY on Feb. 17, 1935, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Nora Fairbrother Wise. She was a 1953 graduate of Avoca Central School. Eleanor was a dairy farmer and homemaker all of her life, working tirelessly to provide for her family and to make their lives better in any way possible. She had very close, loving relationships with her grandchildren. Her many friends treasured the time spent with Eleanor with whom she traveled and made memories together. Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, Rick and Peggy Palmer of Avoca, Robert and Nadeen Palmer of Howard, Gary and Karen Palmer of Howard and Randy and Delcie Palmer of Howard, her grandchildren, Brandi, Trisha, Michael, Chris, Casey, Briann, Shanna, Kyle, Jill, Nathan, Justin, Alicia and Alexie, 14 great grandchildren, her brother, Victor Wise of Orlando FL, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Eleanor was preceded in death by her brothers, Roland and Elmo Wise. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 29 from 11 AM - 1 PM and again from 6-8 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 29 East Main St., Canisteo, NY. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church with Pastor Daniel Pickering officiating.
