Kriss J. Delill, 60, of Genesee, PA, formerly of Jasper, passed away very suddenly on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY. Kriss was born at home in Jasper on Apr. 24, 1955, the son of the late Thomas J. and Lea L. Payne Delill. He was raised in Jasper and was a 1973 graduate of Jasper Central School. Following high school, Kriss began a 40 year career with Ingersoll Rand Co in Painted Post, retiring recently from what later became Dresser Rand. He loved to fish and he adored his grandchildren. He looked forward to combining both loves by fishing with the kids whenever possible. Being "Grandpa" was Kriss's greatest source of joy and pride. He had been an avid euchre player and was a member of the Whitesville Rod & Gun Club. Surviving are his three sons, Jethro (Jenny) Delill of Whitesville, Kristopher (Kate) Delill of Tidioute, PA and Dustin Delill (Johan Santiago) of Genesee, PA, his grandchildren, Logan, Ciarra, Marcus, Gregory, Joel, Joseph and Bailey, his sisters, Gwen (Don) Reisman and Priscilla (Bob) Conklin, both of Jasper, his brothers, Phil (Peg) Delill of Phoenix, AZ, Shawn (Lillian) Delill of Rexville and Antoine Delill (Tracy Wood) of Hornell, his brother in law, Ted Watson, his sister in law, Brenda Dole and many nieces and nephews. Kriss was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Delill on Feb. 7, 1995, his mother, Lea Delill on May 1, 2014, his brother, Stanley Delill on Aug. 5, 2007, his sisters, Karlee Watson on Aug. 14, 2007 and Gloria Hardy on July 1, 2014. Friends may call on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 4 to 6 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will be conducted there on Thursday at 11 AM with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Jasper Cemetery.��
