Cameron, NY | Joan M. (Jo-Ann) Farrand Jackson of Cameron, NY passed into the arms of her Savior on November 14, 2015. Jo-Ann was born in Rathbone, New York, on September 10, 1935 to Raymond Farrand and May Risley Farrand. Jo-Ann graduated from Jasper Central School in 1955. In 1956, she married her high school sweet heart, Stacy K. Jackson, who survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Justine and Christine, son-in-law, Stacy Sullivan, grandchildren, Aidan Sullivan and Matilyn Sullivan, her brother, Donald Farrand (Anna) sister, Nancy Farrand White (Neil), brother-in-laws Ivan (Carole) Jackson, and James (Charlotte) Jackson. She is survived by many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. She lived a full life. Her greatest joy was being a good mother, wife and grandma. Jo-Ann was the ultimate homemaker. She was a seamstress and enjoyed growing her own garden and canning the harvest. She had worked at the Cameron post office, Westinghouse in Bath; Marion Rohr's in Hornell and was employed as a house cleaner for many years in the Corning area. She was a former matron of the Order of the Eastern Stars Lodge 547 Cameron Mills. She also assisted her husband in his ministry at the Cameron Christian Center over the last 40 years Calling hours are set for Friday, November 20, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Cameron Christian Center, County Route 119, Cameron. The funeral will be there at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 21st. Burial will follow in Town Line Cemetery, Cameron Mills.�� Service: Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 11:00 AM�� Cameron Christian Center Cty.
