Obituary of Edith O'Hara

Edith O'Hara, 71, of Tioga Ave. Corning and formerly of Hornell, passed away peacefully Tuesday (Dec. 1, 2015) at Hornell Gardens after an extended fight with cancer. Edith was born August 26, 1944 in Fillmore to John R. and Iva (Nemire) O'Hara. She is survived by four sons: Jack Bartholomew of Las Vegas, Ricky Bartholomew of Mass. Gary (Brenda) Hallett of Fayetteville, N.C. and Scott (Angela) Hallett of Richmond, VA., two daughters: Laurie (Brian) Wright and Sherry Bartholomew all of Las Vegas. 15 Grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a sister Lois Smith of Hornell and a brother Rick O'Hara of Beaufort, S.C. There will be no prior calling hrs. a memorial service will take place Saturday at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Canisteo. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.��
