Wellsboro, PA | Sonja F. Seeley Treat, 66, of Cornell St., Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center in Williamsport, PA. Sonja was born in Wellsboro on Aug. 10, 1949, the daughter of Raymond C. and Beatrice (Morley) Seeley. A very loving daughter, mother and grandmother, Sonja retired after several years from Electri-Cord Manufacturing in Westfield. She had also worked in the past as a nurse's aide at the Green Home in Wellsboro as well as a waitress. She was a member of the Knoxville Chapter 28 of Order of the Eastern Star, the Wellsboro Moose, the Wellsboro VFW and the Knoxville Fire Department Auxiliary. Sonja was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Hendrickson. Surviving are her children, Lisa Gee (David Abel) of Wellsboro, Charles Burdick (Donna Patterson) of Enterprise, Alabama and Junior Treat (Carrie Warren) of Troupsburg, NY, her step daughter, Kimberly (Roy) Boom of Osceola, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her father and step mother, Raymond and Kaye Seeley of Troupsburg, her sister, Sue Sheffield of Hornell, NY, her half brother, Ray (Diane) Seeley of Troupsburg, her step brothers, Kevin (Jar Jarwang) Young of Troupsburg and Doug (Barb) Young of Virginia and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited for a time of sharing and remembrance in honor of Sonja on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 12 noon to 2 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Burial will be made in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, NY.��
