Obituary of Corey A. Buckley

Corey A. Buckley, 22, of Corning, died suddenly on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the Town of Erwin. Corey was born in Corning on May 13, 1993, the son of Tina Buckley and Eugene Guiles. He was raised in Corning and was a 2013 graduate of Corning Painted Post East High School. He had also attended the Coopers Career Center where he was trained as an auto repair technician. Corey was employed as a roofer with Hillside Builders in Corning. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a huge fan of NASCAR and loved to work on cars, especially helping with race cars. Corey was a very loving and caring person and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Surviving is his mother, Tina Buckley (George Smith) of Corning, his father, Eugene Guiles of Rochester, his maternal grandparents, Donna Buckley (Wayne Herlocher) of Woodhull, his uncle, Charles Buckley of Corning and a special dear friend, Risa Smith of Horseheads. Friends are invited to the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY on Saturday, January 16 from 1 to 3 PM for a time of visitation and sharing.
