Obituary of Thomas Henry

Thomas Henry, 78, of 5 Baldwin Ave., Addison, NY, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living, Painted Post, NY. Born in Hawley, Pa. April 1, 1933, he was the son of Thomas A. & Doris Bryan Henry. A graduate of Addison Central School, he served as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. He retired from A.L. Blades & Sons of Hornell, NY and after retirement, assisted at Ackerson Memorials, Addison, NY. He was a former member of Addison Union Lodge F&AM and Williams-Greengrass Post American Legion. He married the former Beverly Moore, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents and son, Timothy Henry. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Marvin & Dorothy Wade of Painted Post, NY; his nieces, Patty (Joseph) Farr of Lawrenceville, Pa., Sandra (Joseph) Fravel of Waverly, Gail Comfort of California & Val (Parvin) Mensch of Waverly, his nephew, James Wade of Pennsylvania, along with special friends, Welby & Betty Snyder of Gettysburg, Pa. and good friend Beulah Stewart. Friends may call Friday, March 30th, 10 - 11 AM, at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St., Woodhull, NY, where funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Sandra Olmstead will officiate.
