Obituary of LuAnne M. Duell

LuAnne M. Duell, 59, of West Main St., Elkland, PA, formerly of Addison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 10, 2016. LuAnne was born in Wellsboro, PA on Sept. 1, 1956, the daughter of Rodney and Joan Heidrich Main. On June 29, 1974, she married Michael H. Duell. Mike preceded her in death on March 14, 2013. LuAnne was a homemaker and assisted her husband Mike in the operation of his business. She had also been employed at K-Mart in Painted Post and was also a teacher's aide for many years at Tuscarora Elementary School in Addison. Her greatest pleasures were special times spent with her grandson "Mikey". Surviving is her daughter, Teresa Duell of Addison, her grandson, Michael Hough of Addison, her parents, Rodney and Joan Main of Elkland, her sisters, Gail (Jeff) Doan of Osceola, Cindy (Paul) Stermer of Lindley, Linda (Dave) Martin of Elkland and Deb (Kevin) Mclean of Osceola, her brother in law, Walter Duell of Woodhull, her sisters in law, Irene Cavall of Columbia, NC, Charlene (James) Runyan of Elkland and Carlene Cahill of El Cajon, CA. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband Mike, LuAnne was also predeceased by her brother, Rodney Main Jr., her mother in law, Beatrice Farrand and her brother in law, Bill Duell. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY.
