Roy T. Parker, 86, of Bath, NY, joined the Great Spirit on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Roy, the son of Harry and Violet (Palmer) Parker, was born in Willseyville, NY on Sept. 4, 1929. He worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad Co. and Tanzini Construction Co. Roy enjoyed taking photos of nature, Native American culture, playing checkers, reading, physical challenges and spending time with his family. He was an admirer of all woodland creatures, but had a great fondness for Raccoons. He was always content to sit with a cold Genny in hand, while regaling you with stories about wildlife. This simple man's legacy was in the strong, independent children he left this world. He was the best Dad he could be. Surviving are his children, Kathy Hamilton (Steve O) of Bath, NY, Susan (Jason) Andrews of Addison, NY, Vicki Mosgrove (Craig) of Bath, NY, Bill (Marge) Parker of Bath, NY, John Parker (Krissy) of Woodhull, NY, Mitch (Tina) Parker of Bath, NY, George Parker of Bath, NY, Pat Howe (Maynard) of Owego, NY and Sandy Parker of Owego, NY, 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. There will be no public services. Memorials in his honor may be made to Angel Eyes Animal Rescue & Wildlife Rehabilitation, 355 Prospect Valley Road, Willseyville, NY 13864. ��
