Obituary of Mary Jane Smith

CAMERON: Mary Jane Smith, 78, of Swale Rd. passed away Friday (July29, 2016) at the Fred and Harriett Taylor Health Center in Bath following a short illness. Mary was born on Christmas day December 25,1937 to Kenneth and Minnie (Evans) Nolton. On September 17, 1955 in Cameron, she married Jack Delos Smith who predeceased her in September of 2007. She was also predeceased by a brother, Royce Nolton and seven sisters: Marilyn Taylor, Lillian French, Shirley Foster, Marjorie MacDonald, Evelyn O'Konski, Kathryn Young and Helen Smith. Mary was a life long resident of the Cameron area where she lived her life as a home maker, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary is survived by three sons: Edwin Smith, Adam Smith and David (Virginia) Smith all of Cameron, two daughters: Catherine (Kenneth) Monroy and Bonnie Smith also all of Cameron, eight grandchildren: Anna smith, Linda (Erik) Davis, Kenneth (Patricia) Smith, David (Ashley) smith, Jr., Susan Spangenberg, Eugene (Megan) Smith, Katherine and Elizabeth Smith and several great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by a sister: Wanda Boyd of TN. two brothers: William (Joyce) Nolton and Richard Nolton all of Cameron, her brothers-in-law: William Young and Gordon Foster both of Campbell and several, several nieces and nephews. At Mary Jane's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place Monday morning at 11:00 am at the Smith Family Cemetery on the Swale Rd. in the town of Cameron.
