Charles W. Woughter, 62, of County Route 100, Addison, NY, died quite suddenly at home on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Chuck was born in Corning, NY on May 2, 1954. He was raised in Borden as a foster son of John and Norma Crane. He was a graduate of Addison Central School. Following high school, Chuck served in the US Army for 4 years. Chuck was a longtime employee of HES Inc. of Addison as well as having a big part in operating the Crane farm in Borden. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed 4 wheeling, especially in the wilds of Black Ash in Woodhull. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry Woughter and his brothers, Leslie Woughter and Bud Woughter. Surviving is his long time companion, Melissa Learn of Addison, his children, Michael Woughter of Woodhull, Tiffany Woughter of Arkport, Aaron Hixon of Whitesville, Rainie Woughter of Florida, Lacey Learn of Addison and Robert Learn of Addison, 9 grandchildren, his foster parents, John and Norma Crane of Addison, his siblings, Grace Frankel, Alice Dean and Juanita Woughter, all of Painted Post, Wanda Woughter of Bath and Donald Woughter of Hornell, his beloved dogs, Tink and Hemi and several nieces and nephews. A gathering and time of remembrance will be held at a time and place to be determined. �� Service: Sunday, October 16, 2016 1-4 PM�� A four wheeler ride to follow to join the family in taking Chuck to his final resting place�� A Gathering And Time of Remembrance Tuscarora Fire Department Cty.
