CANISTEO: Frederick L. Finch, Jr., 30, of Charlie Dr. passed away Monday (Dec. 12, 2016) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Fred was born July 14, 1986 in Corning to Frederick L. and Beulah (Hill) Finch, Sr. who survive and reside in Canisteo.
Fred was a graduate of Haverling High School in Bath. He was an avid NASCAR fan favoring the #24 car of Jeff Gordon, he loved all things outdoors but favored his time fishing with his family and friends. Fred also liked his video games, playing cards and leaving a smile on your face with his great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Fred is survived by two sisters: Aleshia (Nicholas) Greene and Megan Finch, a nephew Nicholas Greene, Jr. and a niece Krymzon Greene all of Canisteo, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service and celebration of Fred’s life will take place Saturday, January 7, at 1:00 pm at the Canisteo Wesleyan Church, Greenwood St. Canisteo.
Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
