Obituary of Robert J. Bartholf Sr.
Robert J. Bartholf Sr., 60, of Mack Road, Addison, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, April 28, 2017.
Born in Suffern, NY, Bob was the son of the late Peter J. and Helen I. Jennings Bartholf. He was a truck driver and had worked several years for Schneider National Trucking as well as other trucking firms.
Bob lived a simple life and was truly loved by his family. He was always present with a helping hand for anyone that was in need.
He is survived by his son, Robert Bartholf Jr. of Lindley, his daughters, Brenda Bartholf of Cleveland, GA, Celia (Matthew) Cunningham of Kenly, NC and Christine Lance (George Cornwell) of Corning, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, the mother of his children, Celia Tritt of Kenly, NC, his brother, John (Pat) Bartholf of Woodhull, his sisters, Diane Mastin of Corning, Adeline Bartholf of Corning and Elizabeth (Dave) Greenfield of Addison, his uncle, Wesley (Charlotte) Bartholf of Dundee and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Brendan Bartholf and Racheal Franks, his brother, Matthew Bartholf and his sister, Gladys Bartholf.
Abiding by his wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
