GREENWOOD: Donald J. McCaffrey, 59, of Ste. Rte. 248, passed away Saturday (May 19, 2012) at Rochester General Hospital following a short illness. Don was born November 17, 1952 in Hornell to Francis J. and Loretta I. (Ford) McCaffrey. He was predeceased by his parents and his first wife Cheryl (Leach) McCaffrey. Don had worked at the former Morrison-Knudsen factory in Hornell. Survivors include two daughters: Loretta (Craig) Hamilton of Hornell, Tonya (Ricardo) Trejo-Chavez of Fayetteville, TN, four sons: Bradley (Mary) McCaffrey of Petersburg, TN, Shain (Heather) Toth of Greenwood, Joshua Ells and Jacob McCaffrey of Almond. He is also survived by four brothers: Patsy (Linda) McCaffrey of Avon and Jack McCaffrey of Avon, Stephen (Deborah) McCaffrey of Livonia and Larry (Shirley) McCaffrey of Rexville, three sisters: Glenna (Larry) Tuttle of Livonia, Ava McCaffrey of Avon and Darlene Lathrop of Wayland, 8 grand children, several nieces and nephews and his friend and companion Cindy Waters of Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 29 East Main St. in Canisteo where funeral service will take place Thursday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, N.Y. Service: Thursday, May 24, 2012 11:00 AM H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. 29 East Main St. Canisteo, NY Visitation: Wednesday, May 23, 2012 2-4 and 7-9 PM H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. 29 East Main St. Canisteo, NY
